Backpack Buddies We are feeding hungry children in Erath County. This is a cooperative effort with several churches, businesses, and individuals. We are a United Way funded agency. Weekends can mean hunger for many children who depend on school meals for their primary nutrition. Backpack Buddies provides sacks filled with child-friendly non-perishable food to students most at risk of being hungry on the weekends. The cost of food for one child for one weekend is $6.00 |
